Third season episode of the Next Generation about a time shift bringing an older USS Enterprise into the future and the Federation into a war with the Klingons
This is one of those episodes that is wonderful for a Trek fan. It filled in an important story piece for Trek's history and on top of that it offered a change of pace for the show. Terrific and original story about a piece of the Federation's past and an example of how changing the past alters the future, and in this case not for the better. Original ideas like this are few and far between. I love the altered bridge set and it was great to see Tasha Yar again.
