Leeann Rimes has one of the best voices in music. "Lady & Gentlemen" is more proof of that. The mix of slow songs with fast songs is perfect. My favorite track is "Help Me Make It Through The Night" This is a lovely song about loneliness and longing. "16 Tons" is a sensual cover of the classic song. I love the sass in Leeann's voice on this song. The musical arrangements on this track are superb. "Give" is a reminder to treat everyone with kindness and compassion. This song is very moving. "I Can't Be Myself" is a song about being unhappy in a relationship. This is a song that I would slow dance with a woman to. This song is absolutely beautiful. "The Only Mama That'll Walk The Line" is an upbeat tune. I love the sassy attitude in Leeann's voice here. He Stopped Loving Her Today is a song that brings a tear to my eye. Not too many singers can do that to me. This is a song that is originally sung by male singers. Leeann makes this song her own. I forgot about the other singers who have performed this song because of her. "Blue" is the song that put Leeann on the map fourteen years. It is interesting to hear how her voice has matured since then. "Swingin'" is simply one of the songs that gets me moving and dancing around the floor. "Crazy Women" is another spirited up tempo song that I love. The music on "Lady & Gentlemen" is excellent.
