Rob Marshall is a master of marrying images together into a stream of consciousness. He is at his best when it is action pack movies. With musicals it is hit or miss. He did an amazing job with Chicago, but just could not quite get it all together with Nine.

His Memoirs of a Geisha was pretty cool too.
