Anything cheesy, greasy, spicy, salty, or topped with sour cream is sure to be a hit in a pub/bar environment. I, too, have mixed feelings about bar food. I mean, this is coming from a guy who likes pretty much anything that's bad for you. If there were deep-fried mayo balls, I'd buy them in bulk from Costco. A lot of people bag on bar foods. But with bar foods, chances are if you're eating them, you're also consuming some form of alcohol, so that's a plus.
