Coffee in your mouth, not in your face

I like coffee. I really like good coffee. But I'm not above drinking average, or even bad coffee. What I hate is pretentious coffee shops - the places that actively try to disuade the plain coffee and no pastry crowd like myself. Caribou provides a warm, casual environment that invites you to hang out, maybe do some reading, and relax.

The coffee itself is nothing to write home about, but I prefer it over Starbucks. If you know of a better place, by all means, go there. But Caribous are plentiful and pleasent, certainly a valid fallback in any situation.
