In life many great things come in pairs,It takes two to Tango, you have two hands and my mother useto say 'you have two ears and one mouth so you can listen twice as much,Peanut butter and jelly,Socks, and the eyes you veiw the world in all come in a perfect pair of two.Oh;Did i mention cookies and milk?Whether a fan of cookies and milk or not we can all agree at one point we've seen somebody enjoying this and why not? It's as American as Macarooni and Cheese(another great pair :p)
Cookie Crisp is a breakfast cereal that is mostly eaten cold. The cereal was released in 1977 by a company named Ralston Purina. The whole Stitch to Cookie Crisp is how the company attempts to diguise Cookies and milk as an innovative idea in the Cold Cereal Industry; And does a great job indeed.
As a child Ide love to wake up in the morning to a big bowl of Cookie Crisp with Ice cold milk to bring it down even better. Now as a young adult i as well as many other people love to eat Cookie Crisp on a regular basis.

Although it can be abit pricey compared to its other competitors such as Frosted flakes and lucky charms and it rarely goes on sale Cookie Crisp is a great buy and small children love it.It can be abit sugary and that's the downside but like all good things to much is bad for you because the taste can become redundant
     Here's a Cereal Bar Recipe

No Bake Cereal Bars
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups Cookie Crisp
1 (12 oz) package (2 cups) semi sweet chocolate chips

Lightly grease 13 x 9 inch pan. In large saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until sugar is dissolved; remove from heat. Add peanut butter; stir until mixture is smooth. Add cereal; mix well. Immediately press in greased pan.
In medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over bars. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes or cool completely at room temperature until chocolate is set. Cut into bars.
36 Bars
For easy removal of the bars, line the pan with foil and then grease the foil. When the chocolate is set, use a spatula to lift the entire recipe from the pan. Cut into bars.

Overall Cookie Crisp Does an amazing job with a simple tweak to traditional Cookies and Milk that's making everyone Crazy for Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooookie-Crisp. :D<3

Aw, your review makes me wanna go out and buy a box right now.  I had totally forgotten about Cookie Crisp cereal!  And that recipe looks dangerous because the ingredients and directions are way too simple.  I think I would add homemade marshmallows to the mix :x  Thanks for sharing, Travis! :)

Thanks for the recipe. I was never into healthy cereal. After watching so many of "good for your heart" commercial about Cheerios, I gave it a try and I had to basically spit it out. How can people eat that stuff first thing in the morning? LOL Cookie Crisp sounds like my kind of breakfast. :-)
