THE essential summer barbeque vegetable. Can you honestly picture eating barbeque ribs with asparagus or brussels sprouts? Wonderful when grilled and topped with the traditional salt and melted butter. But make damn sure your supply of dental floss is full.

Good but messy.

I like eating corn on the cob but it can get messy at times. As a child, I loved eating it whenever I could, but then I got braces and things changed. For about 3 years, eating corn on the cob was quite the task! I had to hold it upright with a fork and "shave" off the corn with a knife.
