I was a bit skeptical about the raspberry and chipotle peppers combination, but this sauce definitely exceeded my expectations!      I tried it as a dip - took a pack of cream cheese, poured the sauce over it, mashed a little bit, and ate with Triscuits - and it was absolutely delicious! This is a perfect combination of sweet and spicy. It has some kick, but not enough heat to make it unpleasant and the raspberry adds the perfect hint of sweetness.    The bottle contains a recipe for the use of the sauce on a pork loin. This is a strange but quite good concoction. It reminds me of a very spicy ketchup I used to eat back in Poland, there they go crazy with sauces and all sorts of condiments, and this brought back the memories, for some reason this mimics the ketchup but not with tomato undertones, the raspberry is rich and jewel like in taste, it really burst in the mouth with a lot of spice behind, the smoke flavor gives it nice woody depth but it's not overpowering, not like smoking a pipe or anything.     I …

I have really been enjoying giving this unique sauce a run for its money in a lot of different ways. The smoky-sweet spiciness is very versatile and never seems to overpower the flavor of the food it is paired with. I'm not usually a fan of raspberry flavoring in cooking, but this chipotle sauce won me over quickly. We've roasted pork with this sauce, and used it for stir-fry, and seared chicken, and rubbed beef before grilling it, serving more sauce on the side. This is a great sauce if you would like to try something new with just some "kick." While it is hard to please all taste buds, the only thing I can tell is: If you are a traditionalist and only eat straight-forward foods, you may not like it. However, if you are one that always dares to try something new, then this is for you! If you are a fan of sweet-n-sour or sweet-n-spicy flavors, then this is the sauce for you. The sweetness of raspberry with a spicy "bite" to wake up your taste buds. It does not have an overbearing spicy "burn your taste buds" taste to it, just enough to add some zing.    So many different uses for it. I tried this sauce several ways. On a turkey sandwich, on crackers, with cream cheese.    Out of the bottle, it seems great. It smells terrific. On foods, however, it just didn't work for me. It is like a very thin raspberry jam with a hint of smokey heat that is completely overwhelmed by the sweetness of the sauce. Since several people expressed concern about the seeds in the sauce, I thought I'd try it as a salad dressing, where I figured the seeds would be less bothersome. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the dressing, the chipotle gave an interesting twist on the raspberry flavor. I don't think this is a dressing that I would want to have every night, but it is a great break from the usual and adds a fun twist to an everyday meal.
