The Only Vegetarian Option at 90% of Restaurants Needs a Makeover

As a recovering vegetarian, I can't tell you how many times I've forced a bland eggplant, squash, onion, roasted red pepper and mozzerella sandwich down my meat-free gullet. This sandwich is TIRED, and I wish that restaurant chefs would recognize that just because one denies themselves the glory of pork fat and the succulence of a roasted chicken, doesn't mean they have no concept of flavor. Think of something new to serve! The same goes for the dreaded butternut squash ravioli with brown butter, sage, and possibly hazelnuts.

:) I totally agree, as a newly reformed vegetarian it sucks when you go out to eat, what meals/ restaurants do the vegetarian community justice?
