Max Brenner is an upscale Israeli chocolate store located in Australia, Israel, the United States, the Philippines and Singapore. The stores have a layout similar to regular cafes, but specialise in chocolate drinks and desserts. The menu differs slightly from store to store, as well as internationally. Commonly found sweets include fondues, waffles and cookies.
Max Brenner was founded in 1996 in Ra'anana, Israel, by Max Fichtman and Oded Brenner - there is no actual Max Brenner in real life, although Oded Brenner does resemble him, and is often mistaken for him. Max Fichtman is no longer associated with Max Brenner. Since 2001, the company has become a part of Strauss Group.
