I swear, I enjoy yo-yo dieting almost as much as Oprah Winfrey but there is one thing my diet never gets sick of ... Larabars.

Let me start from the beginning. I think I am the only person in the world who loves being on a diet. Now don't get wrong I love food that is horrible for you and I often think that I would love to eat that nonsense everyday.  The problem is, it makes me gain weight and I don't like to gain weight ... So I diet.

I like to try every type of diet possible because I get some sort of sick pleasure out of it. Atkins, South Beach, calorie counting, low fat, all carbs, no carbs ... you name it, I've tried it at least twice.

My latest diet craze is the Raw Diet.  In the Raw Diet you all eat all raw food and it makes you skinny and it makes your skin glow. Its not an easy diet to stick to because after a while you get sick of eating fruits and vegetables and eventually you have to put a limit on the raw tuna that you eat.  So one day I was looking for a raw snack that didn't suck.

I came across Larabars. Now I have had Larabars before and loved them but I found a new appreciation for them once I found out that they were considered raw.

Here are some other things I love:

- The taste! They don't taste all chemically like other nutrition bars.

- The calorie count! Most are under 200 calories

- The energy boost! Because they are all natural they give you a nice little boost.

You can find these are Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and sometimes if you are lucky at Costco. My favorite flavors are Peanut Butter Cookie, Cherry Pie, and Banana Cookie.

This is interesting! I did try a raw food diet once, and it just made me feel dizzy and weak. If I had some kind of nice base dish to anchor my diet on — like Larabars — then I have a feeling it'd have gone a little better. I'll keep it in mind when I attempt a raw food diet again.
