Exotic Food Review: Chilean Pebre

Visit my blog if you like as I wrote about this in my last blog entry: www.capscave.com

Ever heard of Chilean Pebre? Most people never have. I was at the Eagle Rock & Roll farmers market and there was this vendor creating Chilean Pebre and I said to myself, "What the heck is that?" So with my curious tastebuds I went to buy some and looked at the ingredients: cilantro, lime, grapeseed oil, serrano chile, sea salt. Wow! This stuff is really healthy. That's a huge plus for me.

I tried it on non GMO tortillas and some mayo...WOW!!! This stuff was unbelievable! I have never had anything like this. I would say it's similar to Argentine Chimichurri but still different. A fresh cilantro flavor with the rich and creamy fatty flavor from the mayo delivered this unbelievable and unique taste. Chilean pebre will go great with seafood and fish. You can really taste the citrus flavor coming from the lime.

If you're a health freak like me, if you're a food freak, if you're as passionate about food as I am go out and get some. You won't be disappointed.

Life's hard but it doesn't have to taste bad

This sounds sooo good! All my favorite ingredients. Wonder where I can get some here in the South Bay?

I like it! This stuff looks and sounds like a taste bud delight. And like others, I also adore Argentine Chimichurri, so this is now on my "Must Try" list! Thanks for sharing!

This is a review after my own heart!  Or, erm, salsa after my own heart!  Don't know if you've seen my Yummy Green Grub list, but I don't think I've ever met a green food I didn't like, and cilantro, lime, and salsa verde all just so happen to be on that list!  Thanks for sharing, Josue.  I'm on the hunt for some Chilean pebre now! :D
