The Philadelphia roll is way up there on my list of favorite fusion rolls. Its got three of my favorite things in it - raw, slimy fish (usually tuna or salmon!), cream cheese and avocado. Sometimes itamaes like sticking random ingredients in there, like cucumbers and sauces and stuff, but I will have none of that. Just give me the bare essentials.
To me, a Philadelphia roll is like a bagel with cream cheese, except instead of a bagel, you get some rice, nori, avocado and some of that delicious fish. And then you get to dip it in soy sauce and wasabi. It's just the bee's knees :)
