Goya Sazon is basically the greatest thing to happen to the single person on a budget who needs to cook a decent meal in under an hour. When making rice and beans for dinner, all you need is one packet of Goya Sazon, an onion, garlic, and a small amount of cumin and cayenne pepper, and you basically have a delicious meal. It goes great as a rub on steaks as well. Also great with eggs, surprisingly! I don't really believe in pre-made spice mixes, but this is the one all purpose seasoning I can believe in.
Goya Sazon is basically just MSG. There's a couple other ingrediants, but it's mostly MSG. This is why it is a delicious miracle and makes everything taste great. MSG, contrary to popular opinion, isn't actually all that bad for you unless you eat a shit ton of it - which is pretty difficult to do! White people often complain about side effects from consuming MSG, but MSG does not actually cause headaches. Wikipedia substantiates this for me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monosodium_glutamate, as all evidence against MSG is just anecdotal.
So go for it and put this little packet in your food. Your tastebuds will be happier. It's a one stop shop to making all your food taste better.

I take it that this stuff is Mexican and comes in a ton of different flavors? Sounds awesome!
"White people often complain about side effects from consuming MSG" LOL I'm Chinese, so I guess I'm immune to that stuff :P And thanks for posting the link to MSG info. That was all very interesting.
