Stuffing is the Best Part of Thanksgiving + Vegetarian Stuffing Recipe

Stuffing has always been my favorite Thanksgiving dish, and for a long time I was under the impression that Stuffing was in fact the main dish of all Thanksgiving Dinners. A gluttonous Thanksgiving treat for meat-eaters!

@ariajuliet posted a great stuffing recipe recently and she inspired me to share my own! I don't eat meat anymore, but when I did as a child the BEST part of Thanksgiving was DEFINITELY the sausage stuffing! My Italian family loves to go all-out for the holiday and make this delightfully-heavy treat. The stuffing gives a great texture to the standard bread-y chunks, as well as adds a boost of salt.
