Any trip to Sedona, Arizona should include a stay at the Enchantment Resort. This Native American-inspired destination situated on 70 acres in Boynton Canyon is a beautiful place to renew your spirit, dine on gourmet food in a picturesque setting, explore the red rock canyon, or take part in an amazing array of spa features.
Accommodations include Southwestern style Casitas, luxury suites, and guestrooms that include private decks to view the stunning colors of the canyon. Activities are never ending! Hiking, swimming, Championship croquet, plus cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and “A Journey of Teas” exploration can be part of your daily itinerary. Enchantment is also a well-known destination for tennis buffs. Plus, there’s a complete Navajo Program for discovery of the local culture.
If your trip is a family event, Camp Coyote for 4-12 yr. olds will keep your kids busy with activities like nature walks, pottery, native beadwork and stargazing. This is a wonderful feature, especially when you want to enjoy the incredible spa, but make sure your children are having a good time.
The Mii amo Spa has a wide-ranging list of choices for facials, massages and enticing spiritual healing treatments, plus a café specializing in organic fare. Their spa offerings are original and are not to be missed. Their list is so extensive that I recommend reviewing it before you go, so you have a good idea of what you are interested in.
Although the Enchantment activities can keep you entertained for hours the pure beauty and serenity of the surrounding canyon is enough by itself. My advice is to order a prickly pear margarita, find a chair on the terrace and exhale.
