I was recently at a friends wedding in Chicago and the reception was held at the W Lakeshore. Those who have been here before know that this is a swanky, Asian design influenced hotel with incredible views of Lake Michigan. Great hotel all around, from the lobby bar/restaurant, to the the view of Lake Michigan, to the reception/conference area on the upper floors. However, I wouldn't recommend buying a bottle of wine at the lobby bar and taking it back up to your room :)

Love this hotel, much better than the W on Adams. There is a buzz all around this place. Sheraton got it right with W's, have a sense of style and humor, be a chain, but make the hotel feel like a boutique hotel. The only downside, the rooms are all small, but not cramped. Location is almost perfect. This hotel has cool written all over it.

Amazing hotel in prime location on Lakeshore Drive. Asian influenced in decoration throughout the lobby and hotel rooms. Home to the Bliss spa. Fantastic bathrooms stocked with Bliss products. Highly recommended!

Contemporary and swanky hotel downtown Chicago and positioned right off of Lakeshore Drive. Better stay versus the W at Citycenter.
