My very favorite version of the classic Dickens tale.

On December 17, 1984 the CBS Television Network aired a made-for-TV version of the timeless Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol". This particular version starred the venerable actor George C. Scott as Ebenezer Scrooge and was directed by Clive Donner who had served as an editor on an earlier film version of the story, 1951's "Scrooge".
