You would think after coming up with not only a great title for this movie, but also a fairly nasty creature, they could have done something with it. Unfortunately they failed miserably. The main problem being there are only
5 people in the whole dang movie and there must be 1,000 creatures, the odds were just not favorable. The other problem could have been the cast, all 5 were as about wooden and untalented as 5 people could be at one time and
still be alive. But on to the movie ...

Amy (Pamela Gidley), some Barbie Doll wannabe, shows up at her parents cabin in the woods. From the looks of things, no one has been around for many a decade but low and behold, the oil burner is a workin' and there is plenty
of fuel for the generator to supply the electric. Amazingly, although she has told no one she plans on being there, she still attempts the phone after her arrival. Oh, Hello Amy, is there anyone in that noggin of yours?

Wandering to the shed to fire up the generator, she finds some slimey, goober stuff covering everything, yet she hangs around anyway. This is when we realize that Amy is obviously avoiding someone somewhere, perhaps the law, perhaps a boyfriend, who knows (insert who cares).

Meanwhile, in the cold and stark forest ... we have some tree hugging urberfreak, Marshall Clarke (Simon Bossell) who is chasing down ecological abnormalities. After he is done ogling Amy through his binoculars, they
meet up and realize they are the proud owners of some biological warped out lizards and they are quickly multiplying and eating their way through everything.

They decide to get outta Dodge, but bad driving, lizards in the engine compartment, and one big-a s sed blizzard stops them.

Of course the lovely Ms. Amy is trapped in the car and the lizards are attacking her, Marshall is locked outside in the blizzard, lizards are leaping everywhere. OK, I probably should bring attention to the fact that
these lizards have the ability to do several things. One, they adapt to changes in the environment.

For instance, when Amy picked up some DDT from the local store owner, Mrs. Miller (Helen Moulder), after the first
generation is killed by the spray, the next generation has a tolerance toit. The same applies to killing them with fire, freezing, etc. Get the picture? So these guys don't have a clue on how to rid themselves of these buggers.

Secondly, they have the nasty little habit of burrowing themselves into your skin. Now I have a bit of trouble with this part. I mean these are supposed to be like Iguanas, only aberrated. They have grown a pretty bad set of fangs and they are faster than lightning. However, the idea of
the dang thing burrowing under your skin, come on! Comparatively, they are huge.

Meanwhile, back in the cabin ... after Amy and Marshall manage to escape the lizards and set the car, their only means of transportation, on fire, Marshall carries the comatose body of Amy back to the cabin through the blizzard. They are expecting an awful lot from me, handing me this story, but I'll bite anyway. After arriving at the cabin, who shows up but - yep, Amy's boyfriend and sometimes business partner that she has bilked out of big bucks. It seems that she and Uri (Valery Nikolaev) have
been running some scam at the local hotels and one day she just takes it in her head to leave, money in tow.

The lizards don't giving a flying-rats-a s s about this set up or the money, however, and kill Uri anyway, after he bats both Amy and Marshall around in typical macho fashion. Phooey on Uri, no great loss. The good thing about this is
that it does give the hapless couple a mode of transportation, once again. Uris' car - which is also infested with lizards naturally. But never fear ...

Warning, warning ... Spoiler alert
Yeah, the numbskulls manage to traipse through the blizzard once again only this time to the good old general store and Mrs. Miller. Poor Mrs. Miller, so unsuspecting. Anyway, when they get there and rip off Amy's pants, they find one of the little buggers trying to wiggle its way into the calf of her leg. In an attempt to eradicate it, Marshall lights a fire and fries the little reptile. All that does, since they are now immune to fire, is tick him off and it scurries around the store, killing Mrs. Miller in the
process. However, Amy, now conscience, and Marshall, reign victorious as they blow up the store and all the little guys inside.

Or do they?

This was released by Grundy Films through the Victor Film Company. Yeah,it's been on TV, so how bad could it be I ask you. Like an idiot, though, I didn't recognize the cover and sure, I rented it. You're welcome.

Written by Scott Lew, Larrin Oura. Director Tim Boxell and you can thank Allen Guilford for the beautiful scenery shots. I wouldn't give him much on the rest of the picture, but after all, he was working with limited intelligence.
