Pros: Nice plot - heart warming. Good to see that art wins over macho ignorance

Cons: none that I can think of!

The Bottom Line: A good solid all around foreign film. It makes one appreciate the finer things of life and how you are rewarded if you work hard.

A dancing Angela's Ashes is how I first thought of this movie. An Irish kid who overcomes his austere upbringing and brutish working class family by becoming a ballet dancer.

This films warmed my heart (not an easy thing to do). Who can resist a film where love and art conquer ignorance? Nice acting done by the child actor who played Billy Elliot.

A very well directed and well acted piece that I would recommend for the family. The filming was very beautiful as well. There was some profanity however.
I would recommend it for those who had children over 13 due to that.
