Director: Francis Ford Coppola; Stars: Marlon Brando, Al Pac …
I am stunned how director Uwe Boll is still able to land a job in Hollywood. I mean, there must be something right to what he is doing so wrong. Perhaps it is a tax credit when a movie becomes a loss?
Whatever the reason, Boll makes the second sequel to the video game franchise “BloodRayne”. Not sure, where the filmmakers’ brains were at, but the film barely even muddles along. I mean, the screenplay is just so uninspired, the acting is tepid for the most part save for Clint Howard who was amusing as the mad Nazi scientist. The first BloodRayne with Kristanna Loken was bad, the second one was more of the same, this third film is just so bland and ridiculous.

I mean, it goes around without any reasoning and things happen just because Boll thought it may be cool--Natassia Malthe has a sex scene in the back of a truck just because. I thought being a rebel during a Nazi occupation meant being ‘invisible’, well, Malthe is definitely attention grabbing, she dresses like the video game character. The story is bland, but I have to admit it is fun watching Nazis get killed, and that scene in the brothel sure got my attention as Malthe displayed her bare assets.
The torture was very short at 76 minutes. I suppose staring at sexy Malthe was enough for me to endure this terrible film.

Malthe is lovely, but I don't know that she's been in a single good picture. She really should model in complete neglect of her silly acting career.
