One of the best forgotten movies ever

This movie is full of action, full of interesting characters and action. It seems forgotten which is a shame.

I admit it is corney, "Annette I never meant to fall in love with you". It's also on occasion just plain silly "...lady its all hand painted all it needs.." (Tell me in 1814 what kind of portrait wouldn't be hand painted?)and the sound stage the battle is fought on is at certain points very much visable as a sound stage to the eye, (I could make out the floor where the plain should be before the British attacked.

All these shortcomings are overcome by fine performances and lots of fun. Buy it.
