What's the film about? Its hard to say what this film is about. Its a war movie, its a romantic movie, its a period drama. Yet its none of these and at the same time all of these. In my opinion its a timeless movie about two people who are reunited at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Yet its the right place and the perfect time for the story. "Casablanca" is my favorite Boggie movie. It has great storyline, great dialogue, (sorely missing in most modern movies), great cast. Ingrid Bergman is the BOMB!!! The entire cast was absolutely great, major and minor players, many who by the way were refugees from war torn Europe themselves. Great music. A must see classic!! I am a retired Army officer.
