Chain Letter is a horror thriller film about six friends who are stalked by a murderer who uses chains to kill them if they do not pass on the chain letter.
Six friends are pitched against each other when they are sent via email and text message, a chain letter, which if not passed on, sends a psycho-killer after them. Their loyalties to each other are tested when they must pass the letter to each other, or not at all, and if they break the chain, they lose a life.
“Chain Letter” is a teen slasher film founded on a premise so woefully thin, so painfully underdeveloped, and so poorly executed, it’s as if the filmmakers went ahead with only an idea instead of a finished screenplay.
