Pros: Fun to laugh at

Cons: Does not intend to be funny

It was difficult to decide on a rating for this review because I genuinely enjoyed this movie, but it was incredibly bad!

I went to see "Down to You" because the local movie theater was letting college students in for free. When I told people that I was planning to see this latest Freddy Prinze, Jr. flick, they warned me that it was a terrible movie and advised me not to see it. Well, they were right: "Down to You" was one bad movie, but I'm very glad I went to see it. I enjoyed it immensely.

From the beginning scene where Al (Prinze, Jr.) uses the ever-cheesy tactic of speaking to the camera, I laughed until the credits rolled. Cheesy is pretty much the only word I can use to describe this movie. The plot was very obvious, the dialog unbelievable, and the characters overdone.

My advice to you is to see this movie with the mindset that you are going to laugh at it. There were a couple of intentionally funny parts, but for the most part, I (and everyone else in the theater) was mocking the film. If you try to take this movie seriously, you will be very disappointed.
