Guy Pearce fascinates as Warhol... but movie is a let-down...

... to evaluate this film as a piece of cinema produced, directed, acted and marketed commercially. I'll have to give it:    5 stars for the acting of Guy Pearce in the role of Andy Warhol. Better than Hoffman as Capote, better than Penn as Milk. Warhol was the creepiest narcissist that ever lived, and Pearce captures every loathsome mannerism. FACTORY GIRL is a film that divides viewers into those who love it and those who dismiss it as trivial trash. For this reviewer there are some strong points in this film about an almost indescribable time in our history that helps clarify points about Andy Warhol and his significance on the art scene.
