Much Better Than the Critical Reviews!

Reading all the critics' reviews I was thinking that this was a bomb worse than The Incredible Hulk. I don't know what movie they were watching. This movie was very enjoyable and fun. The special effects are decent and the acting was just what it should be. Jessica Alba never looked more gorgeous and they did an excellent job of portraying the Silver Surfer. Rise of the Silver Surfer: Marvel Steals Another Two Hours of My Life

Although I am an admitted comic book geek, I do give some leeway where movie adaptations are concerned. I wasn't in an uproar when 1989's Batman erroneously suggested that the Joker killed Bruce Wayne's parents. I didn't freak out when Lois Lane showed up with a mystery son in Superman Returns.
