This is a memorable classic as those who grew up from the sixties to the rpesent day could relate to the fun times during one's high school years. Each of the characters whether it be Damone, Spicoli, Ms. Hamilton, Mr. Hand, or Mark Ratner has memroable qualties about them. There are so many funny lines and several interesting sub plots that almost anyone will be hooked from start to finish. Sean Penn probably gives his best performance and Judge Reinhold is quite convincing as well as someone who thinks he has it all together but really does not. Rent this one tonight, you will not go wrong.
