"The first rule about Fight Club is..."      I LOVE this movie.  I love Palahniuk in general.  I saw the movie several times before reading the book but I loved the book equally as much.  It was pretty awesome how they didn't change too much between the book and the movie.  Both the book and movie contain tons of awesome quotes including my favorites:      "It is only after we have lost everything that we are free to …

I am Jack's carpel tunnel.
FIGHT CLUB   Written by   Directed by David Fincher   Starring Edward Norton, Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter      Editor's Note: They say the first rule of Fight Club is not to talk about Fight Club.  I'm actually pretty certain that this is also the second rule of Fight Club.  I am breaking both of these rules in this piece but, to be fair, I'm not a card-carrying member of Fight Club so I don't think I have to abide …

Fight Club - 1999 If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this is useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told …

Who is edward norton. That is a question youll be asking yourself the whole time your watching this movie. The story follows a man named Edward norton as he goes from a inspection person for the auto industry to the leader of a fight club. And during this he gets caught up with a drug using girlfriend, a man who works as a projectionist at a theatre with a fondness for splicing porn into the movies. It messes with your mind, forces you to think, and then blows what you thought you knew to pieces. …

better than you'd expect, inventive and more subversive than anything. Not repulsively violent either, title notwithstanding.

Not the best movie to watch, but a nice mix of fighting and such to make the movie interesting.

The movie has a great cast and the concept remains interesting even after you know what is going to happen. The cinematography and scoring do a great job of creating a whole environment. A good see but not a must see.

Strong acting performances by Pitt and Norton, but I could not understand the premise of the movie.

I loved the book, however much was missing from the film, as was to be expected, but getting to see these characters fleshed out with amazing talent such as Helena Bonham Carter, Edward Norton and Brad Pitt made my freakin' year. PS If you think Brad Pitt's just another pretty boy, check out this film, Snatch, and 12 Monkeys for a change of heart.

Fight Club
Michief. Mayhem. Soap.      Since the movie came out in 1999 I'm pretty sure most, if not every reader who finds this article, has seen the movie and/or read the book. This will obviously take away from the movie's major twist near the end. Upfront, I have not read the book by Chuck Palahnuik. Interestingly, you will find a Writer's Commentary in the DVD of Fight Club that has both Palahnuik and the writer of the screen play, Jim Uhls, so while things were changed between book …

A dark, twisted film that looks at an anarchistic group of men who participate in an underground fight club for pugilistic outcasts looking to feel more masculine. If you have a sick sense of humor (like I do) then you see this as more of a comedy.

Fight Club is a social commentary on capitalism, and the perceptions of what it is to be a man.

I really liked this film about a bunch of bored white collar workers that get together to watch some of them fight each other. The excitement starts to secretly spread throughout the country to other big cities. As the movie progresses though we are not sure what is real and what is the imagination of the main character. I highly enjoyed this movie and pick up new things each time I have seen it.

From first punch to the last blood splatter this movie socks it to you with every scene. Director David Fincher molds the cast of actors to create a riveting tale which enthralls the masses depicting the feelings of the common man struggling to deal with the realities of everyday existence. Edward Norton and Brad Pitt come together in superb fashion portraying the duo of Tyler Durden and "The Narrator". The writer of the book, Chuck Palahniuk, must be a proud father with the triumph of the onscreen …
