It may well be the most proportionate cinematic blend of stupidity and fun yet shot. Were it any more asinine, it would be nigh-unwatchable; a picture of better diversion would surely necessitate superior craftsmanship or some inspiration.
Whilst aping clichéd cues of televised fare, Harry Manfredi's ludicrous score also sounds purloined B. Herrmann cues and directly plagiarizes Wendy Carlos' score for The Shining. How did this dodge the attention of that most litigious of all composers?
