Taking a Journey

Amos Lassen

"From Here to Timbuktu" is a collection of five new independent shorts that take the viewer on five different journeys for love. Each film comes from a different country (Slovenia, Russia, Australia, Japan and the United States) and each film is a little gem.
"The Dreamer" is about a man who hopes to find love and "Shadows in the S now" deals with a guy and his new roommate, "Center of the Universe" deals with lost love while "Trio" looks at the way a three-way relationship develops. Finally "Blue Seeds" also deals with a triangle relationship. These are films that most of us would not ordinarily get a chance to see. For that reason alone would be enough to recommend this DVD but add to that these are exceptional shorts and you get a pleasurable viewing experience.
