It took 6 long years for the character of James Bond to come back to theaters after a lukewarm response to Timothy Dalton's Bond movie License To Kill.  Contract disputes and legal matters not to mention Timothy Dalton signed off in the interim leaving the series without a James Bond.  A lot of time was taken and looking at License to Kill back to back with Goldeneye, I can see why fans were excited, of course I didn't pay attention at the time and never saw or cared about the …

Omega Seamaster Laser emitting, explosive device wristwatch
Ever since I was a young boy I have always been enamored by fine watches.  So, ever since I was a kid, one of the alluring elements of Bond movies for me was to observe which types of watches were being used, especially by Bond.  As I matured I found that I share many of Bond’s predilections for enjoying the “finest” things life has to offer.  I think a fine watch is part of the character makeup for depicting Bond as a suave and “smooth operator.”  …

In 1995, action fans rejoiced. James Bond was back and just as fun as ever in GOLDENEYE. This time around, 007, played by Pierce Brosnan, is filled with shame over the death of his counterpart 006 (Sean Bean), believing he was responsible for 006's demise. Suddenly Bond is wisked into a war involving a stolen Russian missile launcher named Goldeneye, meanwhile being pitted once again against the Russian general (Gottfried John) that killed 006. Brosnan is arguably the greatest thing to happen to …
