Going around the World in almost 2 hour and seeing what no one has ever seen before. Up in the air mostly and through Yann Arthus-Bertrand's eyes. It is riveting and breathtaking. The landscapes are what I've never seen before. Yann Arthus-Bertrand captures it all in this film as well as he did in his series of books, if not more. With moving images across the globe, his lenses offer stunning views of our planet. Glenn Close narrated it from an environmentalist point of view. How the world has heated up due to global warming. Carbon Dioxide is the crime. We humans, the protagonists and the victims.

If you are a fan of Yann, you will love this signature film. It has his trademark from beginning to end. You will enjoy views from up high and seeing the world you've never had a chance to see before, even if you're a world traveler. Patterns, formations, the land, the sea... you see them all in this film. I wish I was seeing it in an Imax/Omnimax, believe it or not. It is an inspiring film, even if you are merely interested in its artistic aspect. It is well narrated and it is something for keeps. It is also a wake up call. It is a MUST-SEE!
As a world traveler, I love that this film covers more than 50 countries (I didn't actually count but I'm sure more than that as it seems every corner of the world has been covered!). Lake Powell, Sahara, Greenland, Mount Bromo in Indonesia, Kenya, New Zealand, Mauritania, Easter Island, everywhere! Icebergs, polar bears, whales, geysers, volcanoes, you name it, you will see it.
So, go grab a copy of Blu-ray Disc. It's well worth it!

The film was financed by PPR, a French multinational holding company specializing in retail shops and luxury brands, as part of their PR strategy.
