About this movie

Part of Hammer Studio's reboot of the Universal horror series.

The U.K. release is called Dracula.  The film's title was changed in the U.S. to Horror of Dracula because in the U.S. Universal Studios owned the right to the film title Dracula.

The bloodshot contact lenses that Christopher Lee wore in the film bothered him a great deal throughout the production.

The first film of the Count Dracula/Hammer series.
