First off, I'll let everyone here know that when i saw this movie I've never seen Invasion of the Body Snatchers(shame on me) and so cannot compare it to that movie. I've never seen a re-make of it before, nor have I read the book. I went into this movie with (mostly) an open mind expecting some virus fun, and that exactly what I got.       Walking out of the theaters on opening night, I remember my sister calling Invasion a "glorified zombie movie" and I could not …

Aliens from space land on earth and take over the human race. This is essentially the story of this movie. Short Attention Span Summary (SASS)     1. Space shuttle crashes, spreading nasty alien spores from Texas to DC.   2. Enterprising people immediately rack up sales on eBay, spreading more viruses than Microsoft   4. Once infected, people who fall asleep become mindless emotionless zombies   5. Entire audiences watching this movie …

The film presents their arrival as a mixed blessing that poses a philosophical dilemma: on the one hand, it is human individuality that leads to violence and war; on the other hand, without human individuality we would be missing …

I remember being excited about this movie when I first saw the trailer, but after watching I think the trailer was better, at least it was short and showed all the interesting parts. This was not a terrible movie, it was watchable but it felt bland and there were really no surprises, half of it was chase scenes, I felt as if I was watching a remake of "The Fugitive" or something, and not to mention Nicole Kidman's frozen face - I think some emotion and wrinkles on her would make her look human, …
