FUN VAMPIRE FLICK

VAMPIRES I had first seen this movie while living in Maryland years ago and decided one day after Christmas when I had some extra cash that I would go out and buy this flick. I can say now that I am really glad that I did because I find this film to be really good and entertaining. A Quick Tip by FM_ALEX

Don Jakoby did a very good job adapting the novel by John Steakley into this film, the screenplay must have been great. Of course John directed the film, but James Woods, Thomas Ian Griffith, and Danial Baldwin bring this great story to life. Believe me this movie is great is a fun little get away.

Would have made an excellent series

This movie would have been an excellent pilot for an ongoing television series.The concept of an organized group of Vampire hunters, the hard and direct way they do their job and the no-nonsense attitude of James Woods as Jack the head killer would have translated very well to the small screen.The movie itself suffers only from the quick elimination of most of the team.
