Charming Adventure

Junk Dreams is a touching adventure wherein two septuagenarian brothers and a novice cinematographer daughter/niece  set sail on the sea in a Chinese junk boat.

Definitely more about the journey than the details, this film is a delightful view of the resiliency of a generation of men, the bond of love and family, and embracing life and some of the adventures it holds.

The voice quality of the narration is almost too quiet and it falls into annoyingly melodramatic at times. But the open seas, the interactions, and the heart of this film are irresistibly entertaining.
