You might as well call this movie Kill Bill 0.

Lady Snowblood is an ultra-violent Japanese revenge film that was based upon a manga of the same name. The film is about Yuki, a woman who was born with vengeance in her blood. She is a trained killer who is hunting down the four villians that were responsible for the brutal murder of her mother's husband. Not for everyone...

I'll be honest, I rented this film strictly because I love Kill Bill and I was curious to see where Tarantino culled his imagery and ideas. I'm very glad I did, and it's why I think Kill Bill is a very important bridge between modern cinema and cult and foreign film that, lets face it, most of us miss out on.
