I went into this movie fully expecting to hate it. I mean, come on, it's a movie marketed towards teenage girls, which are cringe-worthy at best and unspeakable at worst. But this one was actually pretty good, and smarter than the average teen movie. It's actually the only good movie that Lindsay Lohan managed to churn out in her adult life, but that being said, she was probably the least compelling/funny performance in the film. Every single cast member was great (even Lindsay a bit), and …

Seems like a girl movie, but is actually pretty hilarious. Rachel Mcadams steals the whole movie.

Mean girls is a interesting film, the best comedy starring lindsay lohan. This movie remind us the dramatic life of the High School but it is very funny! The life in the High School is fun but bit difficult. cady heron is a new girl in High School but to being new student in school is a lot of difficult . This film covers topics such as urban groups:      adolescents groups / mean girls:      Popular (Cady Heron group): This group is for beautiful people …

There aren't many movies that I can watch over and over and over and never get sick of.  Well actually, there are four and Mean Girls is one of them (the others are Zoolander, The Wizard of Oz, and Factory Girl.)     Why Mean Girls? Well it beats any other girl movie out there, it's hilarious and it has Lindsay Lohan in it -- What more do you want?      I guess you probably do want more since you went through the trouble of clicking through:    - …

Yes, I just used "fetch" to mean "cool." I stole it from the movie, and no, I don't use that term on a daily basis. But really now, Mean Girls is a teen comedy like no other. It actually has a plausible plot with which most American teens can relate. Even adults who watch the film will remember their high school days and the drama, tensions, and fun times they had with all the different stereotypical characters. Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Tina Fey all do an excellent job drawing in the audience, …

Very loosely based upon the nonfiction book QUEEN BEES AND WANNABES by Rosalind Wiseman, MEAN GIRLS is about a girl trying to adjust to attending public school for the first time and the struggle she faces in attempting to fit in and be popular without denying her values and beliefs and betraying her real friends. The film stars Lindsey Lohan as Cady Heron. Cady's parents are zoologists that worked in Africa studying animals and Cady was home schooled her entire life. They return to the U.S. and …

Pros: Story is entertaining; acting is great.     Cons: Theme is not new…     The Bottom Line: Go rent Mean Girls, pop some popcorn, grab a bag of M&M’s, a can of Cherry Coke, settle in and prepared to be entertained.      Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie''s plot. I am not a die-hard Lindsay Lohan fan of that I can surely attest, but I am a red-blooded American male so she does not completely escape my notice, …

Although this got nice notices when it was out in the theaters, I still wasn't sure I wanted to see it. Produced by Saturday Night Live's Lorne Michaels, and written and starring several SNL alumni, it had a stigma of stupidity. Yet the reviews said it was smart, funny, and well-done.    The reviews were right. For the most part, this is an intelligent movie. The premise is that a home-schooled girl fresh off the plane with her African-studying professor parents would finds the …

"Mean Girls" is a decent film. I didn't like it quite as much as I thought that I would. Perhaps it just didn't live up to the hype that surrounded it for me, but there is something missing here.    Perhaps it is the fact that the ending is just completely unbelieveable. I won't ruin it for anyone, but let's just say that the happy ending is impossible. I don't see a compromise like that ever happening anywhere. The girls are pegged pretty good throughout the movie, but, in the …

Pros: Fey and other SNL-ers, very funny, true-to-life for the most part     Cons: horrible ending, a few over-the-top characters and moments     The Bottom Line: Joining the bottom line is social suicide.     Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie''s plot. The problem with most Saturday Night Live skits and SNL-based films is that they have one joke that they beat to death, and you find yourself yelling at the …
