This is a collection of eight episodes of classic Mickey and friends cartoons that relate to sweethearts (i.e. relationships). These are fun (and often funny) cartoony relationship plots that the whole family can enjoy. The episodes included on this DVD are "Mickey's Rival," "In Dutch," "Donald's Double Trouble," "The Nifty Nineties," "Pluto's Heart Throb," "Mr. Duck Steps Out," "Society Dog Show," and "Mickey's Delayed Date." The plots of the shows are varied from Mickey and Mortimer's rivalry over Minnie in "Mickey's Rival," to Pluto falling in love with a dog he saves in "Society Dog Show" to Mickey being late for a date with Minnie in "Mickey's Delayed Date." Some cartoons are more interesting to watch than they others, but overall it is a fun collection to watch on or around Valentines Day as a family (or even just as a couple).
Beyond enjoying the cartoons I also enjoyed that this DVD has a bonus feature game on it. The game is called Mickey's Match Game. In the game you match up Valentines (i.e. couples). You are given a character and you must select the house that the character's mate lives in. For example, for Minnie you click on Mickey's house. For each house there are two different spots to look for their mate, so sometimes you click on the right house and are still wrong. That is okay, though because you then just click on the other spot that highlights on the house. For example on Minnie's house you may find Minnie at the side door or the front door.
