Se7en is one of my top faves. That ending was just both shocking and fitting to everything the story had laid out.
The Mist may be a so-so movie but I enjoyed the ending which was different from the original ending by Stephen King. It made the film better.
The Japanese film "Death Note: The Last Name".
"Fight Club" is also a fave.
"The Devil's Backbone" is pretty good too. As well as the way they executed the riddle-filled climax of A TALE OF TWO SISTERS.
I know you said movies but "Neon Genesis Evangelion" anime series- the ending was just mind-numbing, heart-wrenching and powerful that it made the series much more memorable.
A Bittersweet Life- the Korean film by Kim Ji-Woon was also poetic and heartfelt.
