I am not a Hugh Grant or Julia Roberts fan but I did really like the movie Notting Hill until the ending. The ending was just wrong in my opinion and really ruined the movie for me.

The Mark Wahlberg Planet of the Apes was an excellent film ruined by a nonesense ending that tried badly to copy Pierre Boulle's novel ending but failed miserably and only helped to muddle the story. The original Charleton Heston film had a super ending. I was a little taken aback by the ending to the third Lord of the Rings movie. It went on totally too long and was kind of confusing. The only other movie that comes to mind was The Bride of Frankenstein. At the end the monster pulls a switch that anyone could have pushed and it destroys the building that the people are in. What idiot would put a self destruct switch that could be pulled accidentally by anyone. It should be noted that due to bad editing of the end, we see the heroes escape the building and then they are seen back inside the building just before it blows up.
