`Nanny McPhee' is charming to the last. The story starts with the Brown household in chaos. Mr. Brown, a widower (in an earnest bumbling performance from Collin Firth) is a breadwinner who hardly carves out any time for his children. I was very skeptical of seeing this movie because I thought that it would be a knock off of Mary Poppins, which I too enjoyed as a child. After watching this with my kids I felt bad for thinking so negatively about it. The kids really love it especially my daughter.
