An excellent portrayal of the struggles facing many families

Having known many people who have gone through a similar dilemma (staying at home and helping the family versus pursuing dreams), I realize what an emotionally charged issue this is. I think that the movie does an excellent job of portraying WHY this is such a dilemma, what forces hold people down, and how one can emerge from adverse conditions and work to make life better. The movie also gives a glimpse into the lives of many new immigrants to Los Angeles.

The case is wonderful and this is a movie that will really force you to think.
