At one point it held the world record for most deaths in a mov. Asides from that, one of the best 80's flicks ever.

The Brat Pack fight those evil Russkies in this 80's classic. "Boys! Avenge me!!

Red Dawn (1984) was one of the first movies to be labeled by the M.P.A.A. with the honorary P.G.-13 tag (I highly doubt this movie would get one today). John Milius' film not only reflects his paranoid vision of a future America but it also is a result of 80's Reganism and heavy handed flag waving patriotism.
