Does not do the book justice!

Omg, where to begin?! The book is so much better than the movie. I can't stress that enough. If you insist on seeing the movie, definitely watch it after you've read the book. The movie changes several scenes from the book to make them more "audience-friendly." For example, in the book, Burroughs writes that he came home one evening to find his mother in bed with another woman.
