   A film with a scant plot must rely on the strength of the actors, music, and cinematography. If the plot is complex, there need not be significant attention given to all of these aspects. If you want a movie that will shock your senses, Sophie Scholl - The Final Days is it. Based on the true story of Sophie Scholl, this movie has amazing cinematography and acting. The color patterns are jarring, with the overpowering red symbolizing the evil of Nazism. The finale is extremely powerful, a trial scene in a Nazi people's court. It shows the stark inhumanity of the Nazi regime in a truly personal way.

SOPHIE SCHOOL - THE FINAL DAYS is one of those films made more powerful by the understated production values.
