Arrested development can be funny sometimes.
I never quite got the Will Farrell love that the rest of the country has.  His loud outbursts are done better by Adam Sandler and his impressions of people like James Lipton and Alex Trebek are sloppy at best.  Despite this I still laugh at him despite myself.  This movie sadly hits a little too close to my home to be a great experience though.      Will Farrel is a 40 something that still lives at home with his mom.  John C Reilly is a in the same boat except …

 Step Brothers was one of the best comedies this year. Will Farrell and John C. Reilly do it again in this film.    I'm not going to say that it was funnier than Taledega Nights because I really don't think it was, but it came close. This wasn't typical comedy movie humor. There was some really sick childish humor that going into the film, I think you have to be ready for otherwise you're not going to like the film.
