**** out of ****     I find it almost funny that David Cronenberg seems to be the only filmmaker out there who can summon apprehension, madness, and brilliance as easily and perfectly as he does. It's almost as if he's the ONLY great mind in Hollywood; the only director who can make a horror/sci-fi movie and make it right. The first film I saw of Cronenberg's was "Videodrome"; and that has become an instant cult favorite for me. And now we have "The Fly"; which is essentially …
