"Welcome, welcome to the Funhouse!"

The Funhouse is surprisingly well directed. The chills were genuine and the acting was creditable. I was not displeased and I enjoyed it very much. Tobe Hooper delivered the goods on this picture. It's funny how one's opinions can change as they move on in life. When I first saw this movie (twenty years ago) I didn't think that much of it, but now I have a whole new respect for it.
